This sandblasting project in Katy, TX was completed under direct owner supervision from start to finish.
Scope of work: The homeowner's blue pool tile had built up calcium deposits and discoloration over the years, to the point where replacement looked like the only option. Instead, our crew used a five-stage sandblasting process: draining the pool for safety, inspecting the tile to assess how bad the buildup was, applying high-pressure abrasive blasting to remove the calcium and staining, rinsing thoroughly to clear residual particles, and a final quality check.
The result is tile restored to its original vibrant blue color, at a fraction of the cost of replacing it. Sandblasting is one of the most cost-effective ways to restore pool tile and plaster without a full replaster, and it removes years of calcium buildup, mineral scale, and staining to reveal a like-new finish while extending the life of the tile.
