If it's a good fit, we schedule a free site visit where our owner comes to your property, takes measurements, and assesses your space. From that visit, we prepare a full custom proposal at no charge, including design and pricing. We then go through 1 to 2 rounds of refinement with you at no cost. You pay nothing until you are completely happy with the proposal and choose to sign the construction contract.

A standard gunite pool build takes approximately 6 weeks from permit approval to swim-ready. However, the permitting process itself can take up to 1 month depending on your city and jurisdiction. Here's the typical breakdown once permits are in hand: excavation and steel installation takes 3 to 5 days, the gunite shell is sprayed in 1 day and needs 28 days to cure, plumbing and electrical work runs 1 to 2 weeks, and plaster and startup takes 2 to 3 weeks. We build weather buffers into every schedule and keep you updated at every stage. Weather, change orders, and inspection scheduling are the most common causes of delays.

We offer tiered warranty coverage that goes well beyond industry standard. The 25-year structural warranty covers the gunite or shotcrete concrete shell of your pool including cracks, delamination, and foundation defects. The 10-year plaster warranty covers the finish surface for bond failure and premature deterioration from our application. The 3-year equipment warranty covers pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems we install. The 2-year workmanship warranty covers tile, coping, plumbing, and electrical installation quality. City and county construction permits are handled entirely by CHR Builder. We prepare all documentation, submit applications, coordinate inspections, and manage the process from start to finish. You do not need to contact a permitting office. However, if your property falls under an HOA or a specific community permit requirement such as an Echo Bay permit, that application is the responsibility of the homeowner. We make this process as easy as possible for you. We prepare all required construction plans, details, and supporting documents so your submission is complete and accurate. We will also be available to assist you through every step of that process to ensure approval.
