Project Overview

This custom pool and spa was designed specifically for the homeowner's space, lifestyle, and vision. Every dimension, feature, and finish was carefully planned before the first shovel hit the ground.

Structural Construction

Every CHR Builder pool starts with a solid structural foundation built to last in Texas soil conditions.

The excavation was completed with a Bobcat for precision and minimal disruption to the yard. The steel schedule uses 3/4 inch #4 rebar tied 8 inches on center — Grade 60 throughout. The pool and spa shell was pneumatically applied using a 6.5 sack Gunite mix with a minimum thickness of 10 inches on walls, floor, and coves. The bond beam was constructed as a 12 inch box style with 4 continuous #4 rebar for maximum structural integrity.

This foundation is backed by a 25 Year Structural Gunite Warranty — one of the strongest in the industry.

Plumbing

The hydraulic design uses separate lines for all skimmers and main drains for maximum performance. All piping is Schedule 40 PVC solvent-weld — non-corrosive and built to last. The system includes an auto fill line and an overflow line tied directly into the deck drainage system.

Finishes

The finishes on this pool were carefully selected to create a beautiful, cohesive look that complements the home and backyard.

  • Interior Finish: StoneScape Pebble — a premium pebble finish that gives the water a stunning natural blue color and provides a durable, slip-resistant surface backed by a 10 Year Warranty

Decking Area

The 440 sq ft Cool Deck patio area was constructed around the pool and tanning ledge to complete the backyard transformation.
